How to Install Trackpilots on macOS (Step-by-Step Guide)

Important:
🧹 Before installing Trackpilots, please remove any previously installed Trackpilots desktop app permissions from your Mac system.
This ensures there are no conflicts with permissions such as Screen Recording or Accessibility.

1. Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security.




2. Navigate to:

   • Screen Recording

   • Accessibility

3. If Trackpilots is listed in either section:

   • Uncheck it

   • Click the minus (-) button to remove it completely (if visible)

1. Visit: https://trackpilots.com/downloads

2. Click Download for macOS

3. A file named Trackpilots.dmg will download to your system

1. Double-click the Trackpilots.dmg file

2. Drag and drop Trackpilots into your Applications folder

3. Open the app from Applications

Because Apple has not yet notarized the app, you may see a warning like:

"Trackpilots.app can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software."

To proceed:

1. Open System Settings > Privacy & Security




2. Scroll down and click Open Anyway next to Trackpilots

3. Confirm again by clicking Open when prompted

2. Enable permission for Trackpilots

1. Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Screen Recording

2. Enable permission for Trackpilots

If you don’t see it listed, open the app once and macOS will automatically prompt you to grant access.
